In 1996, Clarke introduced the first conical bore tin whistle to feature a plastic mouthpiece, blending traditional workmanship with modern technology to create the Sweetone. Its precision ABS plastic mouthpiece is easy to play and produces a clear, crisp, clean sound with good volume, requiring very little air to produce a genuinely beautiful tone.

The tapered bore brings the finger holes closer together, increasing range and accuracy across the higher notes, making it well suited to serious musicians and complete beginners alike. Handmade in England using quality raw materials, it comes complete with a fingering chart and song sheet to help new players get started straight away.
