Stagg SDM50 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

The Stagg SDM50 is a reliable, no-fuss dynamic microphone built for vocalists and instrumentalists who want dependable sound without the fuss of a condenser setup. It's equally at home on a pub stage, in a rehearsal room, or miking up an amp or acoustic instrument.

At its heart is a DC78 moving coil cartridge with a cardioid polar pattern, which focuses on sound coming from directly in front of the mic while rejecting noise and feedback from the sides and rear. That makes it a forgiving choice for smaller stages and PA setups where feedback control matters. The frequency response runs from 50Hz to 15kHz, giving a solid, natural pickup across vocal and instrumental ranges.

Build quality is sturdy zinc alloy, so it can handle regular gigging and knocks without complaint, and it comes with a lockable on/off switch right on the body, handy for cutting the mic between songs without reaching for the mixer.
