K&M 21080 Microphone Stand with Boom

Built for pro stage and studio use, the K&M 21080 is a tripod microphone stand with a telescoping boom arm, giving you full control over both vertical and horizontal mic placement. It's essentially the same design as K&M's 21060 model, but with the added versatility of an extendable boom, so you can position your mic exactly where you need it, whether you're recording seated in the studio or performing live on stage.

The stand is built from steel tubing with a zinc die-cast base, and long folding tripod legs keep everything stable on stage floors, in studios, or rehearsal rooms, while still folding down compactly for transport. Height adjustment uses a quick, tool-free clutch, so you can make changes on the fly without fiddling with wing nuts, while the boom arm itself clamps in place with a sturdy wing nut on a square swivel joint. It's finished in an attractive grey Soft-Touch powder coat that keeps reflections down, which is handy for video shoots, livestreams, or theatre work where lighting matters.
