Made in England since Victorian times, Generation whistles feature a cylindrical brass tube with a hygienic, coloured plastic mouthpiece, favoured by professionals and beginners the world over since 1968. Produced to the highest standards and exacting specifications since its inception, this brass finish gives a warmer tone than the nickel-plated version, offering an easy response and full, bright sound. This D whistle is the most popular key for traditional Irish music and the best key for beginners, and can also be played in the key of G, with A obtainable with a little more effort.
