Evans Pull Cord Drum Key (DAPCK)

Change drumheads in a fraction of the time with the Evans Pull Cord Drum Key, a fully mechanical tool that gives you the speed of a power drill with the control of a traditional drum key. No batteries, no cords, and no risk of over-tightening with a drill.

Two horizontal key heads are linked by a retractable pull-cord pulley system, so a quick pull spins tension rods in or out in seconds. A third, fixed key head works like a standard drum key, ideal for dialling in your tuning and making final adjustments to drum hardware. Colour-coded rings keep things simple: red facing up for removing tension rods, white facing up for applying them.

The sleek, durable plastic housing is rated for hundreds of drumhead changes, making it a practical addition to the stick bag for gigging drummers, teachers, and anyone who swaps heads regularly. It fits standard drum tension rods.
