Evans EQPB1 EQ Black Nylon Single Pedal Bass Drum Patch

Protect your kick drum head where it takes the most punishment with the Evans EQ Black Nylon Single Pedal Patch. Applied directly to the bass drumhead at the point of beater impact, it guards against pedal fatigue and strengthens the head, helping your heads last longer through regular practice, rehearsals, and gigs.

The patch is made from flexible, non-slip black nylon that bonds securely to the head, and it slightly softens the attack without affecting sustain or low end, so your drum keeps its natural voice. It’s made for single pedal setups, and each pack contains two patches, so you’ve a spare ready to go.

Evans suggest it isn’t recommended for use with soft fleece or felt bass drum beaters, so it’s best paired with a harder beater. A simple, inexpensive way to extend the life of your bass drum head, designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA.
