Rotosound RS77LD Jazz Bass 77 Monel Flatwound Bass Strings, Long Scale

One of the original Rotosound sets from the early 1960s, awarded many accolades since its 1966 inception. Wound with the premium Monel alloy, containing around five times more nickel than stainless steel, these strings deliver a deeper, warmer, punchier tone with genuine resistance and clarity compared to the more common stainless steel wrap.

Manufactured the traditional way by hand on machines built by James How, the RS77 set has found favour with a huge range of top artists including members of Oasis, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, and Herbie Flowers. Flatwound construction gives a smooth feel and reduced finger noise, making it ideal for jazz, recording, and any player transitioning from roundwound strings.
