The TM5E is built for players who want commanding sound and refined style in equal measure. Its dreadnought body shape delivers bold projection and deep resonance, offering a strong low end, crisp highs, and a rich midrange that works equally well for flatpicking, strumming, or fingerstyle playing.

A solid spruce top gives the guitar a lively, responsive tone with excellent dynamic range, while figured koa back and sides bring warmth, balanced overtones, and striking visual character, all built with durable HPL construction for added stability against temperature and humidity changes. A slim mahogany neck with 43mm nut width, ebony bridge, and PPS nut and saddle round out a build focused on smooth playability and reliable intonation.

For amplified performance, the TM5E is fitted with Tanglewood's TEQ-G3 EQ system, delivering a natural, accurate representation of the guitar's acoustic voice with easy tone control for any venue. Chrome die-cast machine heads and phosphor bronze strings ensure tuning stability, while the natural satin finish highlights the beauty of the koa.
