The Planet Waves Multi-Function Tuner is packed with options and features that let you accurately tune virtually any instrument in any environment, whether that's a guitar, bass, banjo, violin, or mandolin. A unique, patent-pending rotary interface lets you switch between sweep and strobe tuning modes with a single button.

In Strobe mode, the played note appears in green on the rotary display while red LEDs chase clockwise if you're sharp or counter-clockwise if you're flat, slowing and stopping as you nail the pitch. In Sweep mode, the LEDs sweep left or right to show whether you're flat or sharp. A standard 1/4" input and output, along with a sensitive built-in condenser microphone, give you flexible connection options, while the bracket/clip accessory has a built-in piezo sensor, letting you hang the tuner on a sound hole or clip it to a bridge or headstock, ideal for noisy environments or silent tuning on electric instruments. Frequency-adjust lets you calibrate between A435 and A445, and the large display stays legible even under dim stage lighting.
