Laka Sapele Series Soprano Ukulele & Bag - Midnight Blue

Laka Sapele Series Soprano Ukulele & Bag, Rustic Red (VUS5BL)

The Laka VUS5RD is perfect for newcomers to the never-ending popularity of ukuleles, while also being a firm favourite among amateurs and professional players alike. Ideal for musicians with small hands, children, or anyone chasing that original ukulele sound, it's made from sapele wood, chosen for its strong, showy character and natural warmth in both tone and appearance.

An okoume neck adds strength and durability, paired with a reliable black walnut fingerboard and bridge that fit perfectly into the overall build. A smooth satin, open-pore finish with a thin layer of lacquer preserves and enhances the natural acoustic properties of these popular tonewoods, finished in an eye-catching, see-through red stain. Closed-back, silver-plated machine heads ensure accurate intonation and tuning stability, while Aquila strings across 15 frets deliver a faithful, traditional ukulele sound, sweet in the treble with a warm midrange, well suited to chords, rhythm playing, or venturing into melodic lines and arpeggios.
